Hello to you all.

Well Bike Nights aren’t getting any better, so the Board has made some changes. Bike night will be held this week with a Heavy Metal Band inside at 9 pm and next week with a Rock Band at 9 pm. After that we will only have Bike Night on the 4th Friday of the Month. Come to Tuesday’s General Membership Meeting if you see differently, and if Bike Night dosn’t get any better after that I and the Board will cancel Bike Night all together. You voted on the night and time and locations and then we only get 12 or 18 people showing up, this is not a Bike Night.

Tonight: Bike Night at the County Line Saloon.

Saturday the 28th: The Saints MC will be having a Poker Run for Kids. Starts at H&D Roadhouse, 1811 E. Merritt Island Cswy, Merritt Island at 10 am and ends at their clubhouse in N. Cocoa. Let’s help them and the kids.

Tuesday the 31st: We will have our General Meeting at 7 pm at the American Legion Post 81 Hall. Be there or be Square.

Friday the 3rd: Our Bike Night at the County Line Saloon.

Saturday the 4th: The B.I.N. Run. A huge police escorted Run and Concert at Wickham Park. Registration begins at 9:30 am at the Jameson Inn in Palm Bay. Lots of Bands, Vendors, Food, Motorcycle Parts, Tattoos and lots more. Cost $5:00 and a non-perishable food item. This is a big day for the B.I.N.—Bikers in Need—Please help them and they will help you when you and your Family are down on your luck with some food or maybe a gift card for some. Bear and Ellen will be there, so help all you can and say Hi to them.

Sunday the 5th: Breakfast at the Dog House at 9 am. Its free so enjoy and visit them once in a while, they love seeing you.

Well Hello to you all again.

Well bike night had a small few Members show up last week, but not enough to warrant us to stay going every week at the County line. I’ll see how tonight goes and see what I recommend to the Board on Tuesday night. Wwe need a lot more than 14 bikes to show up and 7 of them Board Members. So if you check, I can’t even get all the Board Members out, and if they don’t show how do we get the other 490 Members to show up? This is your Bike night, where are you? Bike night is from 6 to 9 pm at the County Line Saloon, be there or lose it.

Saturday the 21st: AFMC will have a Chili Cook Off at their clubhouse at Sue Dr, in Cocoa. Starts at 3pm, bring your Chile to be judged, no cost to enter or to be there. Its all free.

Tuesday the 24th: Is our Board meeting for all our Board Members. Be there or be square.

Friday the 27th: Bike night at County Line Saloon.

Saturday the 28th: The Saints will hold a Poker Run, time 10 am, starts at H&D Roadhouse — where ever that maybe-can’t find it in the phone book. Have Fun.

Well Hello to you all. Hope you all had a very nice week, and here is hoping Bear is doing fine and is back to getting around a little. Now Bear I said a little, mind Ellen and also get your rest.

Friday as you all know is Bike Night at the County Line from 6 to 9 pm. But we are having a problem with you all coming out, so if I don’t see some improvement in the next couple of weeks I’ll be forced to start closing it down. You people voted to have it there and wanted it every Friday night and what happens? You don’t show up. It’s not fair for half of the Officers to show up and the owners to show up to open up for a hand full of people. So get your act together and be there or else we might have to shut it down all together. See you all there.

Sunday the 15th is the 2nd Biker Day held by Kim and Scott. This year it’s down at the Church at the Cross, at 50 S. Wimbrow Dr, Sebastian, FL. 32958. Call Kim for directions at 1-772-913-5549 or Scott at 1-772-913-5548. They will have Church Services at 10:30 and then from noon till 4 pm there is Live Music, Venders, 50/50 Raffles, Auction, & More. This event is to raise money for the B.I.N. to help Bear and Ellen to kept the place open and to have food for the needy Bikers that need it.

Saturday the 21st: Brevard Chapter is having their After Toy Run Party from 6:30 to 10:30 pm at The American Legion Post 22 in Cocoa under the water tank. This Party is for the Workers and Road Guards that worked the Toy Run only.

Saturday the 21st: The Church of the Nazarene will be having the Bon Fire on the Hill behind their Church from 4 to 9 pm. No Church Service just good People and Friends. Come out and enjoy.

Hello-Hello-Hello to you all for 2012. Here is hoping you all have a better year this year. And I want to thank the people that went on the run on 12/31/11 for ICE CREAM, we had a good time and a good ride. Thank you Don for planning the Ride.

Ellen called and told me to tell all that Bear is home and under her and hospice care. I went and saw him yesterday and he looks tired and weak. So he still needs time and some good home cooking to get back in better shape. So give him a little time to do that.

Friday the 6th: We will be at the County Line from 6 to 9 pm for our Bike night. Come out and join us at the fire pit and enjoy.

Saturday the 7th: GT Motorcycles, at 2840 Allen Hill Ave off US 1 in Pineda will be having their 1 year anniversary at 2 pm, so stop by and check them out.

Sunday the 8th: Pastor Kim will be having a continental Breakfast at the B.I.N. at 9:30 am and a Church service at 10 am. Come out and hear the words of the Lord, sure won’t kill ya, might just help us all.

Friday the 13th: our bike night goes on at the County Line from 6 to 9 pm.

Sunday the 15th: Pastor Kim will hold an event at the Church at the Cross, at 50 S. Wimbrow Dr, Sebastian, FL to raise money for the B.I.N.. This is called the 2nd Annual Bikers Day. There will be Church Services at 10:30 for anyone that wants to attend then all other activities from Noon till 4 pm. There will be Music, free food, Venders, 50/50, Raffle, Auctions and more. So let’s come out and help raise some money for the B.I.N. and have some fun.

Hello everyone, Here’s hoping you all have a HAPPY NEW YEAR. Just have a good time and get home safe. There are lots of parties out there so enjoy.

Bear has been in the hospital since Sunday night and can have visitors now. He needs all the rest he can get, so if you go visit him limit your time to a few minutes. He enjoys and wants to see all his friends but he needs his rest also.

Ellen said to tell all the BIN will be open Friday and Saturday night from 6 till closing, so enjoy.

Saturday the 31st: ABATE Independence Chapter Ride at 10 am. Don, our Road Captain, is hungry for ICE CREAM. We will ride to New Smyrna Beach and return. We will meet at his house at 317 Live Oak Ln, N. Melbourne, off Post Rd between US 1 and the R X R tracks. Come out and enjoy. We will be back by 5 pm.

New Years Eve party at American Legion Post 81. Prime Rib dinner for $25 per person or $50 per couple. Contact the post for start time.

Also New Year’s Eve party at the AFMC Clubhouse. Starts at 3 PM and lasts till ???. 1633 Sue Drive, Cocoa Florida

Tuesday the 27th: There will be no ABATE Independence General Meeting. See you next month.

Feb 4th: The BIN Run. Police Escorted Run from the Jameson Inn to Wickham park Pavilion for the BIN. KSU at 11:30. this will be a big party with 6 Bands, Food, Venders, Full Bar, cost Will be non perishable food and $5.00. Come out and Help Stock up the BIN and help pay the Rent. Bear a Ellen will Thank You.

Well I hope you made the Christmas Party. We had lots of food, a great Band, and lots of fun. Even Santa enjoyed his time with us.

Friday the 16th: Our Bike Night at the County Line from 6 PM to 9 PM, enjoy. There will not be any Bike Night on the 23rd and maybe on the 30th, too. I will let you all know.

Saturday the 17th: The A.F.M.C. will have their Christmas party at 3 PM. That’s at 1633 Sue Dr, in Cocoa, just off Clearlake Rd, across from Sally’s Bargain Barn. Always a good time.

Sunday the 17th: Mr. Mike Kelly and his Crew will have the K.W.C. Wrapping Party at the County Line. Be there between 9 and 9:30 to help out. They always need lots of HELP. Our chapter will escort the trucks from Wal-Mart to the County Line. We will have Breakfast at 8 AM at the Golden Corral on Palm Bay road then at 8:45 go over to Wal-Mart to meet the trucks. At 9 AM we will escort the trucks from the Wal-Mart up I-95 to the County Line. Should be there by 9:15 or 9:30 AM to unload and start wrapping all the Presents and Food. Usually over by 3 PM.

Tuesday the 20th: There will be a Independence Chapter Board meeting at 7 PM, Board members only.

Saturday 12/10/11: There will be an ABATE State Meeting at the Tropical Inn Resort at 4700 US HWY 1 in Palm Bay, about 1/4 mile south of Port Malabar Rd. Starts at 2 PM, Come out and see how the State Meeting is run.

Saturday 12/10/11: The Saints MC Presents Christmas for Vets at 2 PM, cost $10.00 at the gate. This is held at 3926 Brown Ct, off Canaveral Groves Blvd in north Cocoa.

Sunday 12/11/11: We (Independence Chapter) will have our Christmas Party from 2 PM to 6 PM at Post 81. WE will serve Ham and Turkey, this is a pot luck dinner, So bring a covered dish. We will have a live band “Country Classics”, 50/50 give-away, Chinese Gift Exchange-$10.00 max. limit, and we hope to see Santa if he gets time to stop by.

Tuesday 12/13/11: The B.I.N. will be having a BIN Run Meeting at 7:30 PM.

Thursday 12/15/11: The Legion Riders will have their monthly meeting at the post 81 at 7 PM

Friday 12/16/11: Bike Night at the County Line. We really would like to see all our Members and friends come out.

Saturday 12/17/11: The AFMC will have their Christmas Party, starts at 3 PM at 1633 Sue Dr off Clearlake Rd in Cocoa. And it’s all Free to all, see you there.

Sunday 12/18/11: Its the KWC (Kids Without Christmas) Wrapping Party and give away to needy families at 9:30 AM at the County Line Saloon, we need your HELP. For those ABATE Members we will have breakfast at 8 Am at the Golden Coral on Palm Bay Rd, at 8:45 AM, we will go to the Wal-Mart across the street to help load up bicycles on the trucks, at 9 AM we will leave and Escort the Trucks to the County Line. Should be at the County Line by 9:30 AM. Come on out and HELP US, Mike Kelly and all those kids will be very thankful.

12/2/11: Bike night at the county Line, 6 to 9 PM. You ABATE Members need to get out here to help us out. This is your night and what you voted on. Lets see this work.

12/3/11: The B.I.N. will be open from 6 till Bear and Ellen shut the doors. It’s Open House so bring some non-perishables and help your fellow bikers.

12/4/11: The Brevard Chapter’s 30th Toy Run. They will start the line up at 8 AM at the Merritt Square Mall on 520 in Merritt Island. KSU at 12 noon. Ends at the Wickham Rd Pavilion Behind BCC Campus with lots of Vendors, Music, Games, etc. Bring a friend and enjoy. Cost $10.00 or a unwrapped Toy at equal cost.

12/4/11: Breakfast at The Doghouse. If you have never been for breakfast at the Doghouse you shouldn’t miss this. Mike whips up custom omelets and they put together a great breakfast buffet starting at 9 am.

12/4/11: The “after toy run” Party will be at the B.I.N. or the Bunker at Post 81. Have a good time you all.

12/9/11: Bike Night at the County Line.

12/10/11: ABATE of Florida State will have their State Meeting at the Tropical Inn on US. 1 in Palm Bay. Meeting starts at 2 PM. This is hosted by the Treasure Coast Chapter in OUR AREA, They don’t know how to stay in Indian River County. All that are interested please be there.

12/10/11: The Saints M.C. will be having a Christmas for Vets at 2 PM. Cost is $10.00 at the gate. This is at their Club House at 3926 Brown Ct. in North Cocoa FL. Lots of Fun.

12/11/11: ABATE Independence Chapter will be having our Christmas Party at Post 81 on US. 1 in South Melbourne. Starts at 2 Pm and ends at 6 PM. This will be a pot luck dinner, so bring a Covered Dish. We will supply the Ham and Turkey. We’ll have the Country Classic Band, 50/50, Chinese Gift Exchange ($10 max) and maybe Santa will stop by. Well Hello to all of our readers out there.

First of all I’d like to say that our Bike Nights at the County Line will be every Friday night unless I tell you different. Also the Board has passed the time from 7 to 10 pm to 6 to 9 pm so mark that down in your notes, 6 to 9 pm from now on. And yes there will be a Bike Night tonight. The only Friday there will not be a Bike night that I know of is Dec 23rd.

Also for the month of December, we will not have a general Membership meeting on the 27th.

We will have our Christmas Party on the 11th from 2 to 6 pm. This party will be free and the chapter will buy the Ham and Turkey and cook it up but we need every one to bring a covered dish of some sort, and we will need a few members to help with the cooking. See “T” for details.

We are also doing a Lighted Float for the Light Parade in Melbourne, See “T” about this or Darlene Carter our New P.R. and personal affairs trustee.

We are losing a few more Officers and need some people to step up and take the following jobs, SGT at ARMS, Road Captain, and State Delegate. So please step up and do your duty. We also have a new appointed Secretary- Ms Teppi Terry. We will ask for your approval vote next Tuesday night. Mr. Trevor, our Advertising Trustee, needs about 4 people to help him out doing a small amount of work in your area of town. As you know Teppi and Trevor are not in the best of health and need your support. Please do your thing and step up for them.

This Sunday will be the Phil Mitchell Run for K.W.C., Cost $10.00 a person. Starts at the American Legion Post 81, KSU at 10 am, come early and get a dam good Breakfast for $5.00. The Run will end at Lou’s Blue’s on A1A, event ends at 7 pm.

December 4th will be the Big Toy Run put on by the Brevard Chapter. Line up starts at 8 am at the Merritt Square Mall up on RT 520 in Merritt Island. KSU at 12 noon and will run rain or shine. It ends at the Wickham Park Pavilion on Wickham Rd. Ends at 5 pm. Cost is $10.00 or a unwrapped toy, come on out and enjoy and give to the Kids. lots of fun and Vender on site.

After the toy run the B.I.N. will be open, stop by and talk to some Friends and say HI to Bear and Ellen.

Also that Sunday is the first Sunday of the month, so The Doghouse will be having their free breakfast starting at 9 am.
